A Kitchener man is facing voyeurism charges after two incidents of a suspect recording victims inside stores.
The first incident occurred on July 9, at around 3:55 p.m. Police were called to Fairview Mall after reports of someone recording a victim while changing in a private stall inside a store.
The second took place weeks later, on July 21, at around 7 p.m. Officers were sent to Conestoga Mall after a store employee reported seeing a man putting a recording device on his shoe and filming women inside the store.
Investigations were launched following the reported incidents, leading to an arrest on August 1.
WRPS has now charged a 56-year-old Kitchener man with two counts of voyeurism. He was held for a bail hearing.
Investigations are still underway into any other possible incidents, with police asking anyone with further information to reach out.
