Guelph Police need to find a group of suspects after an alleged gun-point robbery in the north end on Thursday night.
Officers say they got the call around 7:00, after three men came in with a hammer and a handgun, and threatened two female employees. Investigators say it all began with a female suspect coming in, trying to buy something, but couldn’t, because she did not have a valid ID.
She left, and got into a black car parked outside.
Then, police say three males, at least two of them in masks and carrying those weapons, got out of that car, came in, threatened the staff, and made off with cash and merchandise.
Police say the robbers fled the scene in a black Hyundai Sonata with custom chrome rims.
No one was hurt physically.
Police shared these descriptions of the suspects:
- Black male, dark complexion, 5’10”, heavy build, yellow zip-up hoodie, black Nike balaclava, black pants, black gloves.
- Black male, lighter complexion, 6′, slim build, long black hair, blue hoodie under yellow vest, black pants, blue shoes.
- Black male, dark complexion, 5’8″ to 5’10” with a slim build, black North Face windbreaker, grey track pants, black shoes, black duffel bag.
- White female, tanned skin, medium build, black shoulder-length hair, black puffy jacket with fur-lined hood, black leggings, black shirt, pink toque, black medical mask.
