Three injured in Manitou Drive collision, brief closure lifted

Three people are now in hospital with minor physical injuries following a reported collision in Kitchener.

It was just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday when emergency crews responded to the area of Manitou Drive near Sasaga Drive.

Police report two vehicles were involved in that crash, including a black Dodge Dart and a grey Toyota Rav4.

Both drivers were injured, as well as a passenger in the Dodge vehicle.

The investigation into that collision brought closures to Manitou Drive for two hours, which has since been lifted.

Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with dash camera footage, is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers.
