Vehicle fire causes closures, delays on 401 near Guelph Line

A vehicle fire has caused multiple lane closures on the westbound lanes of the 401, just past Guelph Line.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Guelph Line and the 6 South exit around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday after receiving multiple reports of a vehicle on fire.
The vehicle in question caught fire in the centre lane of the highway, with officers closing the left shoulder along with the three left lanes to traffic for ongoing cleanup efforts. However, officers are still were able to detour vehicles through the area.
No additional information has been given as to the exact cause of the incident, along with any possible injuries.
The situation has since been cleared, with all lanes of traffic now opened back up.
