Sudden death in Cambridge not considered suspicious: WRPS

A sudden death in Cambridge is not considered suspicious.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) announced shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Monday that they responded to the Bishop Street North and Duke Street area.

“This investigation is still very active and in the early stages, we have no additional details at this time,” said a WRPS spokesperson via email.

Police later confirmed the death is not considered suspicious and there’s no safety concerns. No further details on the deceased were released.

The investigation was the second sudden death probe to be launched in Cambridge on Monday.
