Over $3M in federal funding going towards 64 local organizations

Dozens of organizations in Waterloo Region are getting a federal financial boost.

Waterloo Region Community Foundation and United Way Waterloo Region Communities announced on Tuesday that $3-million is going towards 64 projects.

This includes, A Better Tent City Waterloo Region, Bridges to Belonging, Cambridge Food Bank, Hospice of Waterloo Region, Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, Islamic Centre of Cambridge, and SHORE Centre

The funding is part of the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund, in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada, United Way Centraide Canada, and the Canadian Red Cross.
