Waterloo Regional Police are reigniting an appeal for information in the disappearance of Dave MacDermott.
MacDermott was last seen 20 years ago at his home on Mill Street in Kitchener. He was supposed to meet up with friends that same night in November of 2002, but never showed up and was reported missing.
He was 30-years-old at the time and was known to frequent nighttime establishments like Club Renaissance, the Silver Spur, Roxxanne's, and Howl at the Moon.
Investigators believe someone connected to MacDermott has information on what happened to him.
The investigation remains open and anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the WRPS Missing Persons Unit or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
We continue to investigate the disappearance of Dave MacDermott.
“Sadly, the MacDermott family has been waiting 20 years for some form of closure regarding the whereabouts of Dave,” said Acting Chief of Police John Goodman.
