Thousands across Ontario take part in MS Walk

The weather yesterday turned out better than expected and that was a bonus for more than 17,000 people who took part in MS Walks across Ontario.

Province-wide, more than $4-million was raised for the fight against multiple sclerosis.

Locally, over $222,000 was raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, close to $47,000 was raised in Cambridge and in Guelph the total brought in was over $118,000.

Those walks, combined, attracted over 1,400 participants.
