Driver escapes injury after vehicle hits hydro pole in Cambridge

A single vehicle crash in Cambridge knocked out power to several hundred homes in south Galt.

The crash happened Wednesday around 10pm on Morrison Road near Shellard.

Waterloo Regional Police say a vehicle struck a hydro pole trapping the female driver. Fortunately, police say she was not hurt.

The power has since been restored.
