Woolwich man facing multiple charges in sexual assault incident

A Woolwich man has been arrested following reports of a sexual assault incident at a business in Kitchener.

Police received reports of a suspicious man following and harassing children at a business on Gateway Park Drive some time around 6:40 p.m.

When they arrived, police found multiple victims who reported being harassed by the suspect.

That man was identified and arrested a short time later at his home. The 23-year-old man from Woolwich is now facing the following charges:

Criminal Harassment
Assault
Sexual Assault
Sexual Interference
Fail to Comply with Probation Order

It’s believed that there are other victims, with police continuing to investigate the incident.
