Kitchener man arrested following early morning robbery

An incident in the early hours of Friday morning has seen one man arrested by regional police.
A victim was walking in the area of King Street West and Francis Street when they were approached by a suspect.
The suspect began yelling at the victim and assaulting them, all while trying to steal their belongings.
Police arrived on scene at roughly 6:30 a.m. and placed the suspect under arrest and has been charged with robbery.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
