Severe thunderstorm warning lifted for Waterloo Region

Environment Canada had issued a yellow severe thunderstorm warning for Waterloo Region around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The warning was lifted just before 3 p.m.

The weather authority had warned of wind gusts up to 90 kilometres per hour and large hail.
