$14 million roadwork project continues on Columbia Street in Waterloo

The Region of Waterloo is investing in making improvements to a 3 km stretch of Columbia Street in Waterloo.

Roadwork is already underway on Columbia Street near King Street, and will continue along to Westmount Road until 2028.

The project has a $14 million price tag and will bring water main improvements, new cycling lanes and repaving to that busy road.

Of course, in the meantime, it means temporary road closures and lane restrictions.

The region is asking residents to keep an eye out for road work signs along Columbia Street as the project progresses.
