All school transportation in Waterloo Region and Guelph is cancelled Wednesday, due to the potential for freezing rain.

This includes school buses, taxis, and special education routes, impacting students in both the local public and Catholic school boards.

All schools remain open.

St. Louis online, daytime, and evening classes are open, and Community Use Programs are still running.

Environment Canada warned of significant freezing rain Wednesday. An orange alert was in effect until the mid-afternoon, when it was downgraded to a yellow advisory.
