Rangers set for Highway 7 rivalry clash with Guelph

The Kitchener Rangers will look to continue their dominance over their rivals from down Highway 7 on Friday night at The Aud.

The Blueshirts and the Guelph Storm will clash for the sixth time this season. So far, the Rangers have come out on top in four of the previous five games against Guelph.

The latest meeting was back on Jan. 18 at The Aud when a late third-period goal from forward Sam O’Reilly sealed the win for the Rangers.

The Storm sit seventh in the Western Conference and are coming off a win over the Erie Otters away from home on Thursday.

The Rangers continue to dominate in 2026, and sit first place in the Western Conference after a 4-3 overtime win in London against the Knights on Wednesday.

After Friday, the Rangers head down to Niagara to take on the IceDogs on Saturday. The Kitchener Rangers have arranged a fan bus to bring the Blueshirts faithful to the Median Centre in St. Catharine’s.
