Guelph driver charged with impaired after car found wedged between two others

Guelph police have charged a driver for allegedly being impaired after she was found stuck in her vehicle, wedged between two other cars.

Police said they were called around 12:30, Monday afternoon, and responded to a scene in a parking lot on Stone Road East.

They said officers found a woman stuck inside her car, after she had allegedly crashed into two parked cars, getting her own car wedged in between.

Officers said they could smell alcohol on her breath, and testing back at the police station showed she had more than twice the legal amount of alcohol in her system.

The 67-year-old was charged with impaired driving and dangerous driving.

Police made no mention of any injuries.

Her driver’s licence was seized for seven days, and her car was seized for 90 days.
