Man charged with sexual assault, kidnapping living in New Hamburg: police

A man charged in connection with an incident in London has been released on bail, and is living in New Hamburg.
Police in London charged 44-year-old Gregory Zehr with sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, kidnapping, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, and uttering threats of death or bodily harm.
The case the charges stem from dates back to June 4.
His bail conditions include staying on the property he is living in in New Hamburg, and having no access to a computer or the internet.
He is also not allowed to have any weapons.
“WRPS is releasing this information because it believes doing so is necessary for public safety and to keep the public informed,” read a notice from the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS).
Police stressed if you see Zehr breaching any of these conditions, to call 9-1-1.
