Kitchener homeowner chases off two suspects in afternoon break-in

It was a two-against-one situation in an alleged break-in at a Kitchener home, and the homeowner prevailed.

Officers from the Waterloo Regional Police Service were called out to a home on Killarney Crescent, soon after 5 p.m. Friday.

That’s near Westmount Road East and Block Line Road.

Police said two male suspects got into the home through a rear door.

But the homeowners was there, and confronted the suspects, both of whom fled the home and drove away from the area.

Police made no mention of anyone being hurt.

There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
