Kitchener Rangers set for dogfight in Windsor

The Kitchener Rangers are set to clash with one of the best in the west in Windsor on Wednesday evening.

The Blueshirts are riding a four-game win streak into Wednesday’s action against the Windsor Spitfires, and have picked up points in every game since Dec. 30.

This is the first meeting between these two sides since the Rangers completed a historic come-from-behind series win over Windsor in the playoffs last season, surging back to win the series after trailing 3-0.

Rangers forward Christian Humphreys has points in his last nine games and is tied for the league lead in assists. His linemate, Jack Pridham, has also been on a hot streak and has 8 points in his last three games.

After Wednesday, the Rangers return home to host Owen Sound on Friday.

All the action can be heard on 570 NewsRadio with the pregame beginning at 6:30 p.m.
