Highway 7/8 EB reopens at Trussler Road

Thursday’s significant snowstorm led to multiple closures, including in the eastbound lanes of Highway 7/8 through Kitchener.

Ontario Provincial Police confirmed shortly after 11 a.m. that the eastbound side of the highway was closed at Trussler Road.

It was because of a multi-vehicle collision that saw non-life-threatening injuries reported.

The closure stretched from Trussler Road to Fischer-Hallman Road.

Clean-up continued for about two hours before the eastbound lanes reopened.
