Unknown substance sprayed in Kitchener robbery

Regional police are looking for a suspect involved in a robbery that took place in Kitchener early Saturday morning.

It happened around 6:20 a.m. at a business near Highland Road West and Fisher-Hallman Road.

Police say the suspect entered the business demanding goods, before allegedly spraying an employee and taking off on foot.

Minor physical injuries were reported from the incident.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777, or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
