Suspect arrested in ongoing criminal harassment investigation

Regional police have made an arrest following a series of criminal harassment incidents across the region.

On Dec. 19, police identified a 29-year-old man from Kitchener in connection to the incidents and place him under arrest.

The incidents range from July of 2025 to as recently as Dec. 16 in Kitchener and Waterloo.

Police say the suspect was known to frequent Conestoga Mall and Fairview Park Mall and has been spotted on the ION as well.

He is scheduled to appear in court in March.
