Kitchener teen charged in Woolwich collision after car flips several times

A teenager from Kitchener is facing several charges after a collision in Woolwich Township this weekend.

Regional police say they were called to the area of Shantz Station Road and Menno Road on Saturday December 6 around 6:45 a.m. for reports of a single vehicle collision.

When they arrived, they found the five people in the car fled the area, but were quickly located and treated for injuries.

Through the investigation, officers found the driver was travelling at a high speed, lost control of the vehicle and flipped it several times.

A 17-year-old from Kitchener is now facing numerous charges including:

  • Dangerous operation
  • Stunt driving
  • Careless Driving
  • Fail to remain
  • No licence 

Anyone with dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact regional police or Crimestoppers.
