Elmira robbery sees items stolen, customer assaulted

Regional police are on the lookout for the suspect behind a robbery at a busniess in Elmira Saturday afternoon.

On Nov. 8 at roughly 4:45 p.m., an unknown man entered a business in the area of Arthur Street South and Church Street West.

The man stole items and assaulted a customer before taking off on foot, officials said.

The suspect is described as a white man, roughly 20 years old, 6’0″ with a slim build and dark blonde hair and a cross tattoo under his eye.

He was last seen in a black hoodie and black pants with a black toque and a camouflage backpack.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact regional police or Crime Stoppers.
