Collision involving e-bike and minivan under investigation

One man is in hospital following a collision involving an e-bike and a minivan.
On Friday around 5:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Cedar Street South and Church Street in Kitchener after receiving reports of the collision.
The driver of the e-bike, a 23-year-old man, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to an out-of-region hospital.
The 66-year-old driver of the minivan was not harmed in the collision.
Police closed down the intersection for several hours to conduct an investigation.
That investigation continues, and anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit at 519-570-9777, extension 8856 or Crime Stoppers.
