Police make arrest in fatal Cambridge shooting

Waterloo regional police made an arrest stemming from a fatal shooting that occurred in Cambridge almost a year ago.

On the night of Nov. 27, 2024, police were called to the Lena Crescent and Pamela Lane area due to reports of shots fired.

A 40-year-old Cambridge man was found dead while a 31-year-old Cambridge man was hospitalized with a serious gunshot wound.

Investigators called the incident targeted and on Oct. 22, 2025, police arrested a 37-year-old Cambridge man.

The accused has been charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder, and breach of probation.

Police said they do not expect to make any further arrests in the homicide investigation.
