Kitchener male arrested in child pornography investigation

Waterloo Regional Police has arrested one man following a child phonography investigation.

On Aug. 29, a 21-year-old man from Kitchener was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of making available child pornography.

The arrest is part of an investigation by the Internet Child Exploitation Unit that began back in April. A name for the accused has not been released.

This comes after a separate investigation lead to the arrest of a Cambridge man earlier this month.

The investigation is ongoing.
