Multiple vehicles keyed in downtown Kitchener, arrest made

A 57-year-old has been arrested after Waterloo Regional Police said multiple vehicles were keyed in downtown Kitchener.

Those reports of damage came in to police last Thursday, but the Kitchener suspect is also believed to be involved in a couple of keying incidents in July.

The connections don’t end there.

“Investigators continue to review additional reports believed to be connected to this ongoing investigation in the Stirling Avenue area of Kitchener and near Cambridge Memorial Hospital,” reads a release from WRPS.

The charges so far, include five counts of Mischief Under $5,000.

Anyone with information about the Stirling Avenue case or incidents by Cambridge Memorial Hospital is asked to contact WRPS or Crime Stoppers.
