Fire at Waterloo business being investigated as arson

An early morning fire at a Waterloo business is being investigated as arson.

The fire was reported just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Erb Street West and Erbsville Road area.

More stories:

No one was injured and the fire is described as being suspicious.

The investigation is ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit. They are treating it as an arson incident.

Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 ext. 6370. Anonymous tips can be left with Crime Stoppers.
