Police release images after noon-hour vehicle theft in Kitchener

Police are circulating images of two people they need to find after a brazen noon-hour robbery that left one victim hurt.

Waterloo Regional Police Service says it happened at 12:00, Sunday afternoon, around King Street West and Andrew Street, not far from Grand River Hospital.

Officials said two people were coming out of a business when they were assaulted by two male suspects.

They allegedly stole keys and fled the scene in the victim’s 2024 green Range Rover.

One victim was left with minor physical injuries.

Police believe the two robbers were in the area “for a period of time leading up to the incident.”
