Robbery at Cambridge gas station under investigation

A robbery in Cambridge is under investigation by the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS).

The robbery was reported on Jan. 4 around 12:10 a.m. at a gas station on Hespeler Road.

According to police, an unknown man entered the gas station and allegedly handed a note to an employee, demanding cash.

The suspect fled after the robbery and there were no reported injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
