Threats of violence hurled during commercial robbery in Kitchener

Police are looking to identify a wanted woman as they continue to investigate a reported commercial robbery in Kitchener.
It was around 10:20 p.m. on Monday when officers responded to the area of Westwood Drive and Brybeck Crescent for the call.
It’s alleged a woman walked into the business and stole some goods and when she was confronted by staff, a scuffle ensued, resulting in that suspect threatening to use a firearm.
It’s unclear whether a firearm was actually present during the robbery, though police say no physical injuries were reported.
That female suspect is said to have left the area with the stolen property before officers arrived on scene.
Police have since shared an image of the woman they’d like to identify in connection with their investigation and anyone with information is asked to reach out to them at 519-570-9777 extension 6399.
