Waterloo Regional Police are putting some humour into the holidays with a new video series.
The police service has released Part One of “Cops on Docks” on their social media pages and YouTube channel.
The short video shows two local officers sitting on a dock and going head-to-head, telling festive puns while trying not to laugh.
It’s a gag that’s been going for a few years now, as Waterloo Regional Police have filmed “Bad Jolly Jokes” videos at their headquarters in the past.
While they were a similar premise, this is the first year police have done a parody of the online “Dock Tok” dad joke trend.
Some of the puns featured in the video are, “My buddy is afraid of Santas in the mall — he’s Claus-trophobic,” and, “I once caught a snowman looking in my fridge for carrots — he was picking his nose.”
Part 2 of “Cops on Docks” drops Wednesday, Dec. 11 and two more segments will be released before Christmas Eve.
