The Kitchener Rangers are the hottest team in the Ontario Hockey League, having won seven in a row, and picking up points in twelve straight games.
The Blue Shirts haven’t lost in regulation time since Sept. 28, when they were thumped 12-2 by the Windsor Spitfires. This hot streak has propelled the Rangers into first overall in the OHL, one point ahead of the aforementioned Spitfires.
Tonight’s tilt sees the 7-5 Sudbury Wolves come to town. They had a mini two-game win streak snapped on Sunday in a 6-3 loss to Ottawa.
If you are making your way to the Aud tonight, people are asked to bring a donation for the Children’s Need Distribution Centre’s Warm Hands and Toes campaign.
Volunteers will be collecting waterproof mitts and warm socks at various locations around the rink to help ensure every child in the community can stay warm this winter.
The Rangers home stand continues Sunday with the Saginaw Spirit making the trip across the boarder.
Don’t miss a minute of tonight’s action.
Mike Farwell and Paul Fixter will bring the game live staring with the pre-game show at 6:30 on 570 NewsRadio.
