Kitchener man arrested in weapons incident

A man in Kitchener was arrested and charged in a weapons incident on Saturday.

Police responded to the area of Kingsway Drive around 2:30 p.m. following reports of a man with firearm.

Officers later located the man in the area of King Street East and Morgan Avenue.

The 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with multiple weapon-related offences.

He was held for a bail hearing.
