Violent attempted abduction at Vaughan Mills parking lot caught on camera

York Regional Police say they are looking for four suspects in connection with a violent attempted abduction that took place in the parking lot of Vaughan Mills around 12 p.m. Friday.
Photos and videos submitted to CityNews Toronto from eyewitnesses at the scene show four individuals in black hoodies tussling near a blue vehicle. At one point in the video, two of the individuals are seen attempting to shove a woman inside the blue car.
According to police, the victim suffered minor injuries and is cooperating with investigators. Police believe this was a targeted incident, but will not elaborate as to the reasons why.
The four suspects were spotted leaving the scene in a blue Honda Civic with the license plate number AXJN850.
Police say the vehicle was stolen on August 21.
Officers initially called the incident a failed carjacking, but investigators now believe the altercation was a result of an attempted abduction.
No other details have been provided at this time.
