What’s open/closed in Waterloo Region for Civic Holiday Monday

Its the long weekend, and that means some services around Waterloo Region will be closed Civic Holiday Monday.

Here’s what you can expect:

All public libraries and as community centres will be closed, as well as bud park.

Grand river transit busses are running on a holiday schedule, make sure to check the route schedules before heading out here.

Regular curbside collection is still happening though the region is reminding residents to make sure their garbage, blue bins, and green boxes are out by 7 a.m.

Cambridge and Waterloo waste sites will be closed for residential drop-off.

All regional administrative offices and home child care offices will not be operating for the holiday Monday.

However, if you’re looking to kick back on the holiday Monday, both the Doon Valley and Rockway golf courses will be open August 5.
