Kitchener woman charged after hate-motivated assault

A Kitchener woman has been charged for her role in a hate-motivated assault on Monday.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, the incident happened in the Old Chicopee Drive and Holborn Drive area of Kitchener at around 3:20 p.m.
The 58-year-old woman approached the victim, spat on them, and hurled racial comments and death threats at them.
No physical injuries were reported in the incident.
The Kitchener woman was charged with assault and uttering threats to cause death and held for a bail hearing.
