Closure on Erbs Road in Baden after crash, one driver hurt

A busy section of Erbs Road in Baden was closed to traffic Tuesday afternoon because of a serious collision.

Waterloo Regional Police confirmed around 4 p.m. that they were on scene in the area for the investigation.

Police then told CityNews Kitchener the crash involved a minivan and a tractor.

The driver of the minivan was taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately released.

No one else was hurt in the crash.

Erbs Road was closed between Sandhills Road and Notre Dame Drive for the investigation.

Police said the closure is expected to last for several hours, with no reopening time provided.

Drivers were told to plan an alternate route during the closure.
