Two more draft selections commit to Kitchener

The Kitchener Rangers will have two more 2024 draft selections joining the club.
The team announced that both Alexander Bilecki and Weston Cameron have committed to the team as well.
Bilecki was selected in the 2nd round, 31st overall of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. The 6’1, 155 lbs left-shot defenceman registered eight goals and 24 points in 33 games with the Mississauga Rebels.
“Alex had a good draft year and was a player that we really coveted leading up to the draft and we’re excited that he was available with our 2nd pick and even more excited now that he is committed to our team,” General Manager Mike McKenzie said. “We look forward to seeing him develop in Kitchener and be a big part of our blueline moving forward. Welcome to the Rangers Alex and Bilecki family.”
“I can’t wait to throw this jersey on and play in front of the best fans in the best rink,” Bilecki said. “Kitchener is a great organization, and I just want to put in the hard work and develop my game to play for a great team.”
Bilecki will wear number 89 for the Rangers.
Meantime, Cameron was the Rangers’ third-round pick, 49th overall in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.
Cameron was the captain of the Toronto Marlboros U16 team this past season. He registered 28 goals and 64 points in 55 games in Toronto.
“It’s an amazing feeling to sign with the Rangers, everyone here is amazing,” Cameron said. “Kitchener is a very well-respected and prestigious organization in the OHL. The fan base is incredible and I’m just over the moon to get started to play here.”

The centreman will wear number 17 with the Rangers.
Earlier this week, Evan Headrick signed his OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club.
