A 28-year-old woman from Cambridge has been arrested and charged following a hit-and-run on Dunbar Road.
The crash happened April 26 as a vehicle travelling on Dunbar Road struck a pedestrian, a 57-year-old man, who was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
Police later located the female driver and took her into custody.
She was arrested and charged with dangerous operation and failure to stop after an accident.
Dunbar Road was closed from Briarwood Drive to Hespeler Road in both directions for several hours while police investigated.
Police later confirmed the man who was struck was a construction worker. The Ministry of Labour is also now involved in the investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash-camera footage are asked to contact police at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
