Alleged fraudster facing dozens of charges after trying to flee police at Conestoga Mall

A woman is facing 42 fraud charges after Waterloo Regional Police say she was caught trying to set up credit at Conestoga Mall.

Police were called out Wednesday to one of the businesses at the mall in Waterloo, about a person who was said to be trying to obtain credit fraudulently.

When officers found her, she allegedly try to run away, but was caught and arrested.

Police said she was found with identity documents in the names of several victims.

Officers also found several pieces of property obtained by fraud.

The 24-year-old from Guelph is now facing dozens of fraud-related charges.
