Uptown Waterloo Egg Hunt happening Saturday

By Erin Anderson

An egg-citing event is returning to Uptown Waterloo over the Easter long weekend.

The Uptown Waterloo BIA is hosting the second annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, Mar. 30.

Executive Director Jeyas Balaskanthan said 31 businesses are participating this year.

Kids and their families will be able to go door-to-door to check out the businesses and grab chocolate and candy.

Keep in mind, it is a ‘bring your own basket’ event.

Balaskanthan said the first 100 families that show up to the Egg Hunt will receive a free tote bag, courtesy of the BIA.

There will also be activities in Waterloo Town Square like colouring and games, and there will be a DJ.

The Egg Hunt runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
