Police investigating jewellery store robbery at Fairview Park Mall

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate – following the armed robbery of a jewellery store at Fairview Park Mall.

It was just before 6 p.m. on Saturday when police were called to that store inside the mall.

It’s alleged that three men entered the store with weapons – one with a firearm and two with axes.

Those suspects smashed a number of display cases, stealing an unknown quantity of jewellery before fleeing the area in a dark-coloured, newer model Honda Civic.

All of the involved suspects have been described as being in their late teens or early 20s with thin to average builds.

Waterloo Regional Police have since released surveillance images of those suspects.

Anyone with information that could assist police in their investigation, including dashcam or video surveillance from the area, is asked to reach out to them.

Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers.
