Road improvement project to limit HWY 7/8 access at Trussler Road

By CityNews Kitchener staff

Signage has now been posted along Trussler Road near Highway 7/8, warning of incoming traffic disruptions beginning on Oct. 10.

According to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), a road improvement project is set to get underway that week at the Trussler Road Interchange at Highway 7/8.

The ministry warns that work will close the Highway 7/8 on-ramps in that area, as well as the eastbound Highway 7/8 off-ramp.

The westbound Highway 7/8 off-ramp will remain open during that roadwork, as will traffic on both Trussler Road and Highway 7/8.

Impacted ramps are expected to remain closed for roughly six weeks.

Motorists are encouraged to visit the MTO website for updates on any traffic impacts.
