Highway 7/8 closed between Stratford and New Hamburg

The Ministry of Transportation is reporting that all lanes are closed on Highway 7/8 between Stratford and New Hamburg.

The impacted stretch spans from east of Stratford's city limits to Bleams Road.

The closure is due to hazardous weather and road conditions.

Both Waterloo Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police have urged motorists to avoid non-essential travel during this winter storm.
