Student assaulted at Huron Heights Secondary School, three teens charged

An assault at Huron Heights Secondary School in Kitchener has resulted in three teens now facing charges.
Waterloo Regional Police were called to the school just before 11 a.m. Monday. They had received word from staff that a student had been assaulted inside the school.
The 17-year-old female victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Two 17-year-old females, as well as a 16-year-old female have all been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused are scheduled to appear in court on August 5.
