Residential fire in Kitchener closes road (update)

Regional police have deemed the cause of a Saturday residential fire in Kitchener to be accidental, following an investigation that closed a portion of Fergus Avenue for several hours between Weber Street and Falesy Avenue.

According to the service, emergency services were called to the area of Fergus avenue shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday for that residential fire, eventually extinguished by the Kitchener Fire Department. 

There were no physical injuries reported in relation to that incident.
