Half-century anniversary for Uptown Waterloo barbershop

A local barbershop has achieved a major milestone.
Friday marks 50 years since G&T Barbers opened at The Shops at Waterloo Town Square.
“We are so grateful for the support we've received from our loyal customers and the community. It's because of them that we are still here, still in business – even during a pandemic,” said owner Joe Cignelli in a release.
Due to the provincial state-of-emergency, plans for a small celebration have been pushed to May.
Personal care services are not allowed to operate during the shutdown.
