Waterloo getting sixth cannabis store

Another retail cannabis store is opening in Waterloo.
Kelly Warren ran a clothing store for more than eight years but due to the pandemic, she's now switching gears.
“I knew I needed to change directions but I loved working for myself and in the retail industry,” said Warren in a release. “I began learning about cannabis retail and discovered Sessions. I had never pictured myself as a cannabis retailer but after the past year, we've all had to think outside the box.”
The Sessions pot shop will begin operating on Friday, and its grand opening event will start Saturday at 9 a.m.
The store will be located in the plaza at King Street and Northfield Drive, beside the LCBO.
It will mark the 6th operational cannabis store in Waterloo.
